The Glass Slipper Chihuahua:
Many people call and want a tea cup chihuahau , or an applehead
chihuahua.
What is a tea cup?? does that mean they fit in a tea cup at full
grown? or just when born? or even in two weeks?
I question that terminology, but every one wants a tea cup
chihuahua.
Well I have made up a new terminology to honor a little chihuahua I
raised, and am calling her my glass slipper chihuahua.
The glass slipper chihuahua is the ultra small, very fragile
chihuahua. The one that needs 24 hour care to make it thru
episodes of hypoglycemia.
the glass slipper chihuahua defies what it is to be a dog and
matures under 2 pounds.
Little Mouse as i call her, is my glass slipper chihuahua. at last weigh
in she was 12.4 ounces at 14 weeks old.
She was off the chart.
Little Mouse went to Canada June 4 2007 to be with her new owners
and with diligent care by them we will see how big she grows or
doesnt grow.
I will miss little mouse, but am honored to raise such a tuff little
chihuahua that wanted to beat the odds and live.

| I have another little glass slipper chihuaha , Chase is the father again. He is a black little boy and weighs in at 13 oz at 10 weeks old, little bit bigger than mouse. but small enough. we call him Mickey Mouse. 12/08 |
